Cambodia, United States Cooperate to Arrest and Deport American Fugitive
Cambodian and United States authorities have arrested and deported an American fugitive wanted in the US on multiple criminal charges, the US Embassy in Phnom Penh said.

The embassy said special agents from the Diplomatic Security Service worked with Cambodian law enforcement to locate and arrest the suspect. The individual was wanted for serious offenses, including illegal possession of firearms and drug-related crimes.
After the arrest, the fugitive was deported from Cambodia and placed in the custody of special deputy US Marshals. He was then escorted back to the United States.
The US Embassy thanked Cambodian authorities for their cooperation. Officials said the operation shows that fugitives cannot avoid justice by fleeing overseas.
The embassy added that the case reflects strong law enforcement cooperation between Cambodia and the United States.
