Netflix Reveals Premiere Date and First Look at XO, Kitty Season 3
Netflix has officially unveiled the first look images and premiere details for the eagerly anticipated third season of XO, Kitty, the teen rom-com spin-off series starring Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey. The announcement confirms that the new chapters of Kitty’s journey will debut globally on April 2, 2026 on the streaming platform.
Produced as a continuation of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before universe, XO, Kitty follows the titular heroine as she navigates life, love, and friendships while studying abroad at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). The third season will see Kitty return for her senior year, with Netflix sharing a set of first-look photos that offer glimpses of familiar faces back on campus.
Returning Cast and New Beginnings
Alongside Cathcart, a core ensemble of characters is set to reprise their roles. Expected to return are actors such as Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho Moon, Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, and Anthony Keyvan as Quincy “Q,” among others spotlighted in Netflix’s promotional images. These photos hint at campus life, friendships, and romantic storylines unfolding against scenic backdrops like cherry blossoms and city streets.
Though the season maintains its standard format of eight episodes, early publicity suggests fresh energy and narrative arcs as Kitty faces new challenges in her final year. According to the official season synopsis, her senior year will be shaped by meaningful memories with close friends, deepening family connections in Korea, and pivotal choices about her future — both personal and romantic.
Senior Year Drama and Relationship Stakes
Season 3’s narrative promise centers on balancing Kitty’s ambitions with upheavals that test her relationships, particularly with Min Ho. After the cliffhanger-heavy end of the second season, fans have speculated about how these dynamics will evolve. With senior year in focus, Kitty’s emotional journey seems poised to take center stage as she grapples with decisions that could define her life after high school.
In addition to the established cast returning, new actors are joining the series, broadening the world and injecting fresh drama into KISS’s halls. Behind the scenes, the creative team remains committed to preserving the mix of heart, humor, and coming-of-age themes that have distinguished the show since its inception.
Anticipation Builds Ahead of April Premiere
With just weeks to go before the April 2 premiere, anticipation among fans continues to grow. Netflix’s release of the first images has sparked conversation online and across social media, as viewers revisit the series’ romantic arcs and look ahead to Kitty’s final chapter at KISS.
As the countdown to Season 3 begins, XO, Kitty stands as one of Netflix’s defining teen rom-com hits in recent years — a testament to its blend of cultural charm, emotional resonance, and relatable storytelling that has connected with audiences worldwide.
