AEW All Out 2026 Results: Will Ospreay Retains World Title as Young Bucks Make History

AEW All Out 2026 delivered a packed night of championship action, major confrontations and dramatic finishes as All Elite Wrestling returned to the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, on Saturday, September 26.

The eighth edition of All Out featured a nine-match main card with seven championships at stake. By the end of the night, only one championship had changed hands, but that title change came in one of the evening’s most chaotic contests.

The biggest moment arrived in the main event, where AEW World Champion Will Ospreay successfully defended his championship against Jon Moxley. The match brought together two wrestlers with a complicated history and forced Ospreay to withstand interference and pressure from Moxley and the Death Riders.

Ospreay ultimately survived the challenge, recording his first victory over Moxley and retaining the AEW World Championship.

Will Ospreay Defeats Jon Moxley

The AEW World Championship main event was built around more than the title itself.

Moxley had previously played an important role in Ospreay’s development, making the contest particularly significant for the reigning champion. Their rivalry escalated throughout the weeks leading into All Out, with Moxley becoming determined to take Ospreay’s championship.

The other major championship change came in the AEW World Tag Team Championship ladder match.

Cope and Cage entered the match as champions and were challenged by FTR and The Young Bucks. With the titles suspended above the ring, all three teams had to climb the ladder and retrieve the championships.

The match quickly became one of the most physically demanding contests of the night.

The Young Bucks eventually reached the championships and secured the victory, making history in the process. Matt and Nick Jackson became four-time AEW World Tag Team Champions.

The result gave the Young Bucks another milestone in a division they have helped define since AEW launched.

Cope and Cage were unable to retain, while FTR also came up short in the three-way contest.

Thekla Earns a Shot at Mercedes Moné

The AEW women’s division also produced an important development at All Out.

Thekla defeated Willow Nightingale in a women’s world championship No. 1 contender’s match, earning the right to challenge Mercedes Moné.

The match gave both wrestlers an opportunity to move closer to the top of the division, but it was Thekla who emerged victorious.

Following the result, the path was established for Thekla to face Moné for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream.

The outcome adds another major challenger to Moné’s reign and gives Thekla a significant opportunity on one of AEW’s upcoming major events.

Swerve Strickland and New Level Retain

The AEW World Trios Championship also remained with its current holders.

Swerve Strickland and New Level defeated Hangman Page and Brodido to retain the championship. The match continued the growing rivalry surrounding the trios division and kept the titles in the hands of the defending champions.

The result was another example of how much championship gold was on the line throughout the Chicago-area event, with most of the champions ultimately leaving the arena still holding their titles.

Brawling Birds Survive Chicago Street Fight

The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship was defended under particularly chaotic circumstances.

The Brawling Birds put their titles on the line against Divine Dominion in a Chicago Street Fight. Without the normal restrictions of a traditional wrestling match, the contest allowed both teams to use the environment and weapons to increase the intensity.

The champions eventually survived and retained their championships.

That victory helped maintain the Brawling Birds’ position in the women’s tag team division while adding another memorable stipulation match to the All Out card.

Okada Retains the International Championship

Kazuchika Okada also successfully defended his championship at All Out.

Okada faced Tommaso Ciampa for the AEW International Championship, with Ciampa attempting to capture his first major AEW singles title.

The challenger pushed the champion, but Okada ultimately retained the championship.

The result keeps Okada at the center of the International Championship picture and leaves Ciampa still searching for a breakthrough victory on AEW’s biggest stages.

A Night of Championship Defenses

All Out 2026 ultimately became a night dominated by championship retention.

Of the seven championship matches featured on the card, only the AEW World Tag Team Championship changed hands. That meant Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland and New Level, the Brawling Birds, Kazuchika Okada and the other defending champions all emerged from the event with their titles intact.

The event also featured 12 total matches when the Tailgate Brawl pre-show contests are included.
